Abstract :
Objective: Compliance with social responsibility in government organizations of the country is of significant importance because government organizations in Iran are responsible for the main part of the economy and manufacturing and service industries in the country. Achieving the organization's social responsibility goals can be achieved through the participation of employees and citizens. Methodology: Therefore, this article aims to validate the model of social responsibility of government organizations in the participation of employees and co-creation of value with citizens. This study was conducted in a practical way in Khuzestan Governorate and from the point of view of data collection, it is considered a survey-cross-sectional study. Methodology: The main tool of data collection is a questionnaire and it was randomly given to 400 citizens of Ahvaz. The structural equation modeling method has been used to analyze the collected data. Conclusion: The results of this article have shown that the social responsibility of the organization has a direct effect on the co-creation of value with citizens. Originality: On the other hand, the social responsibility of the organization indirectly affects the co-creation of value by affecting the participation of employees. By emphasizing the trust, commitment and enthusiasm of the citizens, Khuzestan governorate managers can increase their motivation to participate with the organization, which is manifested in improving the knowledge, skills, creativity and dependence of the citizens. Co-creation of value is related to the direct or indirect experience of citizens of services and facilities, and even the way of interaction with other citizens is also important.
